IT Infrastructure Leader - Player Coach
Location:
Cedar Rapids, IA Salary: $110,000-$145,000 base + exceptional benefits
We're hiring a hands-on Network & Systems Supervisor to lead and elevate a high-performing infrastructure team. This is a player-coach role—owning team delivery while actively contributing across networking, systems, and modern Dev Ops practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of network, systems, and security engineers
- Own workload planning, delivery, and operational excellence
- Serve as technical escalation point for complex incidents
- Drive infrastructure automation (Ansible, Python) and CI/CD (Git Lab)
- Oversee container platforms, Linux environments, and enterprise networking
- Lead IAM, security operations, and compliance (HIPAA, SOC2)
- Establish standards, processes, monitoring, and incident response
- Contribute to strategy, KPIs, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 5–7+ years in infrastructure, systems, or Dev Ops
- 1–2+ years leading or mentoring technical teams
- Strong Linux, networking, and enterprise infrastructure experience
- Hands-on with automation (Ansible, Python, Power Shell) and CI/CD
- Experience with containers and modern platform practices
- Exposure to security operations and compliance frameworks
Nice to Have: AWS/cloud, IAM/PKI, SIEM tools, security certifications
