Panels and Keyboards Commodity Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Panels & Keyboard commodity and its supply base
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (contracts, procurement, quality, value stream, etc.) to execute supply chain strategies
• Own and manage relationships with multiple strategic suppliers
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, competitiveness, capability, and reliability (TCO)
• Negotiate and execute long‑term agreements aligned with commodity strategy and stakeholder needs
• Lead the sourcing process from RFQ through contract signature
• Operate with limited oversight and drive decisions independently
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously using strong project management skills
• Communicate clearly and effectively with leaders at all levels
• Lead change management or work‑transfer initiatives to achieve cost savings or improved supplier alignment
• Analyze data to inform strategy development, negotiation positions, and supplier decisions

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience in Supply Chain
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong Analytical skills (Excel, Access database, SAP)
• Technical or manufacturing aptitude
• Experience with negotiations
