Apartment Maintenance Technician

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our winning team at the Retreat on 6th Apartments in Cedar Rapids. We are offering up to $25/hr plus $750 quarterly bonuses, full benefits, tool reimbursement, and 2 weeks paid time off.

• $23 - $25.00 an hour
• Yearly raises up to 5%

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks

• 2+ years' experience in general maintenance
• Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
• Some knowledge of HVAC and water heaters
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
