This person will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment after completing diagnosis and troubleshooting various issues.

** What You’ll Learn & Do
*** Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of the problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
* Perform preventative maintenance.
* Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder’s torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
* Maintain plant sanitation standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned.  
** What We’re Looking For
** We’re looking for individuals who:
* 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
* Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
* Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
* Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.  
** Minimum Requirements
*** At least 18 years old
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to safely operate equipment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen  
** Work Environment
** This is a hands-on industrial position. Candidates should be comfortable:  
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Working around grain dust and industrial equipment
* Climbing railcars, ladders, stairs up to 120 feet high

Typical schedule:

* Monday– Friday 7:00a – 3:30pm; including on call as needed
