* JOB SUMMARY:

** The Operations Manager’s main responsibility is to provide leadership and manage the Cedar Rapids/IA City division to achieve company goals. This position is also responsible for safety practices, development, profitability, operations workflow, resource management, growth, production, and supervision. This position is full-time and may require overtime and/or weekends.

* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Assist in producing financial goals; implement controls over spending and production to ensure adherence to the budget
* Evaluate division performance and recommend new strategies for performance improvements
* Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation promotion, retention and termination activities
* Resolve business/customer issues and ensure that all escalated issues are closed
* Oversee safety and technical training, and enforce standards
* Develop and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency
* Manage coordinate and monitor all personnel and resources essential for the operation of the division
* Identify and implement growth opportunities within the division
* Work flexible hours in all weather conditions to accommodate the seasonality of the industry

* JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*** Minimum of 5 years industry related experience in residential and commercial services
* Minimum of 5 years managing personnel
* Valid Iowa driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED:

*** Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 100 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
* Possesses the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and during adverse weather conditions as warranted by workload and schedule
* Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
