Hours: Monday – Friday | 8 am – 4 pm

Overview

of the role

Managing daily operations of the Crisis Center program according to agency policy and practice. Oversee the hiring and supervision of Crisis Center staff who coordinate and directly respond to individuals experiencing mental health related crisis. Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners through collaborative opportunities, and community outreach. Maintain records for payroll, basic accounting, program data, documentation, billing, and scheduling needs.

Participate in regularly scheduled conferences with internal staff, and Foundation 2 contracted agencies.

This position will be primarily based out of a Des Moines office, with occasional travel to the headquarters location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

  • The annual base salary for this position starts at $60,000 per year, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. Salary offered will be based on candidate experience and qualifications. Flexible benefit dollars can be used toward medical insurance and other benefits. What you’ll do

What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service‑related field required or 5 or more years human service experience.
  • Supervisory Experience Required
  • High comfort with computers with ability to type quickly and multi‑task.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy.
  • Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
  • Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file.
  • Live in Iowa
  • Live within 50 miles of Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA.
  • Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods.
