Retail & Store Manager
Position Summary
Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support plans and initiatives that meet customer and business needs. Identify and communicate goals and objectives, build accountability, measure progress, identify improvement opportunities, and demonstrate adaptability and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Open Door Policy, providing guidance on ethical conduct.
- Build high‑performing teams that embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, creating a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
- Attract and retain top talent, empower associates, and recognize their contributions.
- Make customer‑centric decisions, applying the EDLP and EDLC business models, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities, and considering all stakeholders.
- Demonstrate integrity, ethics, and compliance, holding oneself and others accountable.
- Encourage curiosity, continuous learning, and innovation, driving improvements and adopting new technologies.
Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone, Complex Structure, and state pay differentials where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications- 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for firearms‑selling facilities.
- Current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility for facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements (if applicable).
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U, Bellevue University).
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
