Senior Program Manager – Operations Technology & Advancement Program Management

Location:

This role is part of Collins Aerospace Operations Technology & Advancement Program Management. The Senior Program Manager will lead cross‑functional initiatives that modernize operations through Industry
4.0, advanced manufacturing technologies, digital solutions, and data‑driven decision‑making. The focus is on driving productivity, delivering measurable cost savings, and advancing operational capability across Collins operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through factory modernization projects, ensuring alignment with operations, program and organizational objectives.
  • Drive productivity improvements producing quantifiable cost savings and enhanced operational performance.
  • Ensure program and project benefits are realized across Collins operations.
  • Communicate effectively with operations and executive leadership, providing clarity on priorities, risks and progress.
  • Lead all program phases from inception to completion, including customer interface, requirements alignment, and manage schedule, risks and opportunities.
  • Use data to generate insights, guide strategic decision‑making, and strengthen operational awareness.
  • Influence and lead change across a matrixed organization, building consensus and accelerating adoption of new technologies.
  • Operate in alignment with the RTX Lifecycle Program Management framework to ensure disciplined program execution, risk management and governance.
  • Provide oversight for projects led by other Program Managers to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, manage KPIs and reporting cadences that support leadership visibility and decision‑making.
  • Travel up to 25%, including potential extended assignments for key business activities.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • University degree with minimum 10years of prior relevant experience; or advanced degree with minimum 7years of experience; or 14years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 4years of manufacturing operations experience within a high‑mix factory environment.
  • U.S. person requirement.
  • Proactive leadership with experience in manufacturing environments and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project planning and execution skills covering scope, schedule, cost and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience using data to drive insight and decision‑making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading challenging projects, navigating adversity, and driving alignment in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting summarized performance to executive stakeholders and leading cross‑functional decision forums.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both vertically and horizontally across a large organization.
  • Proven capability to take initiative, provide direction and drive operations to completion.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across a matrixed enterprise.
Salary Range

USD
132,400–251,600 (depending on experience and role level)
