The Role

The Mission Critical Center of Excellence manages billions of dollars in projects annually, specializing in data center and mission‑critical construction for leading technology and telecommunications clients across the United States. Focused on fast‑paced, MEP‑intensive projects, the group is recognized for delivering complex solutions while offering significant opportunities for career advancement within the thriving mission‑critical construction industry.

The Construction QA/QC Manager is a primary role where an individual is directly responsible for the implementation and management of applicable quality control plan(s) as directed by the General Manager on a company‑wide, division‑wide or project‑wide basis, to assure work performed by Suffolk Construction and its subcontractors is performed in compliance with applicable specifications, plans and governmental requirements from project commencement through close‑out (and commissioning, if applicable).

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the Corporate Quality Management Program across all areas of the business and ensure compliance.
  • Expand and develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project.
  • Assist with the creation of project‑specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project.
  • Assist with the development of quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross‑functionally with operations to address any trends.
