Engineering Manager, Hardware Engineering (Onsite)

Engineers and managers in Mission Systems, Mission Critical Products (MCP), will lead a mixed Mechanical & Electrical Engineering section within the Multi-Domain Assured Navigation & Timing Applications (MANTA) organization. The role focuses on inventing, developing, building, and testing mechanical and electronic solutions that support Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of high‑performance engineers in mechanical and electrical engineering execution of internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects, driving 100% customer satisfaction.
- Develop innovation strategies via collaboration with internal and external customers and partner organizations across the company.
- Collaborate with personnel across Mission Systems and RTX to support technology transition planning and recommend projects for independent research & development.
- Develop and nurture internal and external networks, forging relationships with peers across Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream leadership, and Operations.
- Communicate with executives to showcase the mechanical & electronics capabilities of the MANTA Hardware organization.
- Enhance leadership skills through tactical and strategic planning and coordination.
- Provide career advancement opportunities within Engineering leadership roles.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years).
- Demonstrated ability to obtain or already hold a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience leading cross‑functional technical teams, mentoring people, and accomplishing challenging tasks.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in risk identification, communication, and mitigation.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle including Operations support partnership.
- Experience supporting pursuit, order & capture activities.
- Established track record of building, mentoring, and growing high‑performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management ensuring alignment to business objectives.
- Demonstrated record of meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Highly self‑motivated, enthusiastic team leadership in fast‑paced, creative environments.

Salary range: $107,500 USD – $204,500 USD, commensurate with experience.
