Assembler – Cabling & Kitting

Location:

Cedar Rapids, IA Job Duties

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and cable components
• Follow work orders, diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions
• Perform kitting, testing, packaging, and material handling
• Use hand and power tools during assembly
• Change applicators on the cut‑strip‑crimp (CSC) machine
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Cross‑train and assist other departments as needed
• Work independently from task lists with minimal supervision

• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand 8+ hours
• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Able to read a tape measure
• Comfortable working individually and with a team

• 3‑day weekends (Mon–Thurs schedule)
• Air‑conditioned, clean, updated facility
• Family‑oriented and flexible with life events
• Free coffee
• Can leave the building for lunch
• Occasional company‑provided breakfast/lunch during busy periods

• Very clean, climate‑controlled, and laid‑back atmosphere
• Hands‑on assembly and kitting environment
• Contract through end of August, potential for contract‑to‑hire based on performance
• Overtime possible on Fridays

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids,IA.
