Warehouse Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

• Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds; when lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
• When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
• Work safely at heights of up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
• Remain on the move, willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist other departments (e.g., e‑commerce, inventory, will call) depending on business needs.
• Perform other job‑related tasks and follow any job‑related instructions from supervisors, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handle commercial tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) with mechanical equipment. Use protective equipment: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and self‑retracting lifeline.

Work may involve exposure to weather, moderate noise levels, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds while working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (THC/marijuana not tested).
