Responsibilities
A production Welder/Builder at Future Line uses prints, drawings, traveler bills of materials (BOMs), and other documentation to build truck bodies and platforms, toolboxes, ladder racks, and other related ancillary products.
The primary tools and skills required are aluminum welding, fasteners such as rivets, hucks, nuts and bolts, and related tools. Some carbon steel welding may also be required.
This position is responsible for the quality of product being passed on, including work performed prior to this position. Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment used, cleanliness and preparedness of the work area, maintaining inventory controls, and adherence to all safety protocols.
The position must be willing to work in areas other than primary and may require overtime to adjust to unexpected demands. Overtime is not institutionalized at Future Line at this time.
