Salary Range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD

Responsibilities
  • Directly manage multiple cells; oversee performance and productivity, safety, quality, and manufacturing lead time.
  • Establish performance objectives and lead performance and productivity.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles (ACE) to continuously improve methods, processes, and production KPIs.
  • Oversee production operations—including shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management—along with maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling, and personnel.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, clarify priorities, identify risks, and escalates issues that cannot be resolved internally.
  • Set sequencing of work (e.g., build and delivery) to optimize productivity.
  • Head materials and logistics problem resolution for the unit or shift to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and issues and ensure satisfactory standards of service.
  • Hire, mentor, and coach a high‑performance team with succession planning.
  • Clearly define all workflows, communicate documented processes, and ensure practices are continually refined and tuned with learnings.
  • Perform professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

  • Prior experience in aerospace is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and effective practice of Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.
  • Knowledge and effective practice of aerospace quality practices such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
