Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Cedar Rapids, IA
$60,000-$80,000+ DOE
Full-Time | 1st Shift
We are hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support automated manufacturing equipment and test systems in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, equipment support, startup assistance, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot automated equipment, PLCs, sensors, and test systems
- Support equipment startup and production operations
- Perform root cause analysis and assist with process improvements
- Make minor PLC/HMI adjustments under engineering guidance
- Maintain documentation and support preventative maintenance efforts
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred
- 2+ years of manufacturing or automated equipment experience
- Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting controls systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial equipment
