Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove are leading manufacturers of luxury kitchen appliances.
This role is a unique opportunity to help lead the setup, launch, and support of our new refrigeration fabrication and assembly lines at our Cedar Rapids facility.
Start-Up Responsibilities & Ongoing Production ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Quality Department, the Quality Technician is responsible for auditing internal processes and ensuring component and product quality throughout the manufacturing workstream.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Technician responsibilities in Fabrication, Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Finished Good Inspection.
- Support new equipment and process capability studies as part of plant start-up.
- Participate in continuous product and process improvements to exceed client expectations.
- Participate in Control Plan system development and execution.
- Develop, deploy and perform audits while maintaining the audit database.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and tiered work systems.
- Review and update the quality system requirements for new or revised products, including review and measurement of key control characteristics (KCC) identification and documentation.
- Work closely with engineering to support Factory Acceptance Testing, and trial builds of product throughout the system, gathering feedback for evaluation and analysis.

- Ability to read a bill of material (BOM).
- Ability to read component design prints and follow assembly instructions.
- Mechanical assembly experience and familiarity with hand/power tools.
- Experience with manufacturing quality systems.
