Join our dynamic team at Collins Aerospace as a Test Technician, where precision meets innovation in the aerospace industry. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting‑edge aerospace technologies.
What You Will Do- Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Collect, document, and report on tests performed.
- Evaluate test results.
- Read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions.
- Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a group setting.
- Lift or carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs.
- Work second shift; willing and able to train on first shift for 4+ weeks.
- Provide 100% onsite presence.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Requires high school diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Pass the Certified Electronics Technician Associate (CETa) exam from Electronics Technicians Association – International (ETA-I).
- Ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions.
- Willingness and ability to work second shift, with training on first shift for 4+ weeks.
