PMX Industries is seeking skilled Industrial Mechanics to join our maintenance team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. • Starting pay up to $35.42/hour based on experience
• Progress to $37.37/hour within your first year
• $0.70/hour night shift differential

• 12-hour rotating night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Alternating 36- and 48-hour workweeks
• Work approximately half the year
• Overtime opportunities available

• 11 paid holidays annually

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Work with hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, rigging, and material handling equipment
• Assemble and disassemble machinery
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment

• Industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work overtime as needed Preferred
  • Military mechanical experience
  • Welding experience or certifications
