Job Position Description

Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to load materials such as rock, sand, gravel, and other aggregates into haul trucks or crusher. The role involves maintaining equipment, following safety protocols, and ensuring productivity in the pit area of the quarry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load trucks and/or crusher keeping pace with production needs.
  • Maintain consistent material flow and avoid overloading trucks.
  • Communicate with truck drivers, plant operators, and supervisors to coordinate production.
  • Maintain berms, quarry floor, and haul roads in quarry pit to ensure safety.
  • Perform required daily maintenance and record maintenance performed. Report required repairs to Superintendent.
  • Observe environmental rules by properly disposing of waste oils / lube and filters and taking care in fueling and cleaning equipment.
  • Help with plant maintenance, and setup/teardown for site moves.
  • Work safely with adherence to Wendling Quarries safety policy.
Job Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Willing to travel
  • Monday – Friday
  • Approximately 50 hours/week
