This position is for an Engineering Staff Lab Assistant/Inspector who works under minimal supervision, performs hands‑on technical work on engineering products, and confers with Engineers and lab technicians on details and specifications to build and modify a wide range of products.

• Works under minimal supervision to provide technical build support to engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks.
• Performs moderately complex hands‑on technical tasks that contribute to the completion of engineering projects and products.
• Works on circuit boards completing repairs, component insertion and replacement, and even inspection.
• Familiar with soldering techniques, both lead and lead‑free.
• Builds cables and terminations for a wide variety of circuity types.
• Understands the engineering inspection and quality process and follows quality procedures.
• Reads prints, drawings, and schematics as needed to assist in the build process.
• Uses hand tools, scopes, soldering stations, and other devices with skill and precision.
• Demonstrates successful soft skills - communication, attitude, leadership, and professionalism.

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD.
