Systems Engineer
Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, leads in advanced aerospace solutions. The Secure Systems Engineering team seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive development of next‑generation cryptographic systems from low TRL to production.
What You Will Do- Manage cryptographic product development to provide secure solutions to channel partners.
- Interact with external customers.
- Participate in the systems development lifecycle: trade studies, system design, requirements definition, allocation, traceability, integration, verification, qualification.
- Manage program schedule and cost performance and generate the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to execute milestones.
- Facilitate customer demonstration events and program reviews onsite and offsite.
- Lead bid and proposal efforts.
- Present technical and program data to customers and executive leadership.
- Experience with system development process: requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, transition to production.
- Experience operating as a Product Owner in Agile.
- Active, transferable SECRET clearance required prior to start.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
- Degree in STEM with at least 10 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years experience.
- Exceptional communication skills; experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership.
- Experience with cryptographic hardware architecture/design, network encryption specifications and test methodologies.
- Experience with NSA certification process.
