Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electronics Technician
Senior Production/Equipment Technician
We are seeking an experienced Senior Production/Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical and mechanical tests on prototype and production circuit boards, units, and systems to ensure they meet specifications and identify malfunctions or failures. You will also perform maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, collaborate with engineers to improve product and process performance, and maintain accurate records.
Union Role Pay Information Full-Time Hourly rate Range: $34.36 hr. with 1.00 shift differential 2nd shift on a 5/40 work schedule Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical tests on prototype and production circuit boards, units, and systems to determine performance to specifications and identify malfunctions or failures
- Conduct various types of tests, including:
Environmental Stress Screening Automated Test Equipment through-put Manual Test Equipment through-put - Perform maintenance on all electrical and mechanical equipment used in the production process
- Perform general maintenance duties (excluding electrical) throughout the facility to keep production processes operational
- Collaborate with engineers to correct design and test methods to improve product and process performance
- Perform RF tuning, tack solder test selects, lift axial leads, remove simple solder shorts, clip leads, touch up post coat, and reassemble and seal units (as needed)
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork
- Ensure general clean-up of the work area
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of written electronics knowledge test. Candidate must successfully pass Test Tech Exam, or provide proof of Certified Technician exam passage prior to second interview.
- Experience with Automation Test Equipment & Environmental Stress Screening
- Ability to work 2nd shift
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics)
- Experience with automated test equipment and environmental stress screening
- Certification in a related field (e.g., IPC, AS9100)
- Willing to train on troubleshooting equipment
- Able to obtain Security Clearance
- Secret
