CNC Machinist

J.E. Adams Industries, a leading manufacturer of car wash equipment and accessories, high pressure parts and misting solutions, is seeking a qualified candidate for a
1st shift 4-10/hr. days CNC Machinist.

• Prior CNC lathe experience
• Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Good understanding of machine tool operations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, etc.
• Positive attitude, motivated and works well with others in team environment
• Follow both verbal and written instructions
• Ability to multitask
• Lift up to 80 lbs.

• Set up machines for daily production
• Run and inspect test piece for accuracy to print
• Maintain continuous machine operation at an acceptable level of production within the department
• Ensure parts produced meet quality standards
• Adjust machine parameters if necessary to achieve continuous production of in tolerance parts
• Move materials to and from machines as necessary
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Work safely while maintaining a clean organized work area
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other duties as required
