Mount Mercy University is seeking a strategic and creative Campus Content Specialist to capture and elevate the Mount Mercy experience across digital platforms. This role strengthens brand awareness, engagement, and enrollment growth through compelling storytelling, coordinated content development, and performance-driven digital strategy.
Working within a collaborative marketing partnership with St. Ambrose University, this position builds and manages a campus-wide contributor network while producing high-quality social, photo, video, and written content aligned with institutional priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute digital content and social media strategy
- Capture and curate stories highlighting academics, student life, athletics, and mission
- Manage paid social campaigns and analyze performance metrics
- Build and guide a network of campus content contributors
- Maintain organized digital asset management systems
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience in digital content creation and social media strategy
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Experience with paid social advertising and analytics
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Higher education marketing experience preferred.
This position is campus-based and includes occasional evening and weekend event coverage.
