Salary Range: $17.00 To $17.00 Hourly
POSITION SUMMARYServes as the operational backbone of the Marketing Department, providing administrative support while coordinating promotions, special events, social media, communications, and daily marketing activities. This position works closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure projects are organized, marketing campaigns are executed efficiently, and guests experience the Cedar Crossing brand at its highest level.
The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe following statements are intended as an overview of key responsibilities of the work for this position and are not all inclusive:
Marketing Operations- Coordinate daily marketing activities, promotions, giveaways, tournaments, and special events.
- Assist with maintaining the department's marketing calendar and project timelines.
- Coordinate promotional materials, signage, and event logistics.
- Provide administrative support for the Marketing Department.
- Create, schedule, and publish social media content.
- Assist with photography, video, and content creation during promotions and events.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to guest inquiries as directed.
- Assist with website updates, email communications, and other marketing materials.
- Support Discovery Club initiatives, promotions, and guest engagement activities.
- Assist with event registration, prize distribution, and promotional setup.
- Coordinate guest communications related to marketing events and promotions.
- Work closely with Marketing Ambassadors, Player Development, Entertainment, Casino Operations, and other departments.
- Coordinate vendor orders, promotional inventory, and marketing supplies.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and departmental correspondence.
- Maintain organized marketing files and project documentation.
- Ensure marketing materials comply with company policies and gaming regulations.
- Promote responsible gaming messaging where required.
- Protect confidential company and guest information.
- Maintain professional standards in all communications and guest interactions.
- Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
- Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred. One (1) or more years of marketing, hospitality, promotions, communications, or administrative experience preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Strong organizational skills and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications or equivalent and menu driven programs.
Must have ability to:
- Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests and outside contacts.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
- Obtain and maintain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
