2nd Shift RN​/LPN

The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is now hiring! We are looking for a dependable, hardworking RN/LPN to join our team! This position is fantastic for someone who is continuing their education and only looking for a every other weekend commitment!

The position isfor 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) in our long-term care unit. Every other Monday, every other Wednesday, every Thursday and every other weekend. Total of 24 hours per week.

Competitive starting wage for LPN’s is $31.50 and RN’s is $41.50. Wages are based on experience. This shift includes differential pay. We will work with you to create a consistent schedule that meets the needs of both the applicant and the facility!

This position is responsible for transcribing physician’s orders, administering medications and treatments as prescribed and providing professional nursing services. Nurses observe and communicate resident changes to physicians and are responsible for resident personal care needs and outlined in service plans.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current registration with state board of examiners. Advanced preparation or experience in geriatrics is preferred. Must have willingness to learn and provide compassionate care for the frail elderly and persons with dementia.

Our campus includes a 30 apartment assisted living, 12 unit assisted living memory care and a 40-bed skilled nursing facility.
