Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible home health work that fits your schedule and pays well? Bright Star Care of Iowa is hiring part-time and PRN RNs for home health care visits in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and surrounding areas.

• Weekly pay - direct deposit
• Paid travel time between clients (when seeing 2+ clients per day)

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Skilled nursing visits: wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, ostomy care
• Medication management, administration, and patient education
• Post-surgical and post-hospitalization care
• Chronic disease management (diabetes, COPD, CHF, hypertension)
• Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and cognitive assessments
• Pediatric home health care (as applicable)
• Supervise and support CNA and caregiver staff
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and care teams
• Electronic documentation via mobile charting platform
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician and care team

• Active RN license in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• 1+ year of nursing experience required (home health, hospital, skilled nursing, or clinic)
• Home health experience preferred but not required - we provide training
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

• Home health or home care nursing
• Hospital med/surg, ICU, or step-down units
• Skilled nursing facilities (SNF) or long-term care
• Hospice or palliative care nursing
• Clinic or outpatient nursing
• Travel nursing (looking to settle locally)
