We are looking for a Travel Cath Lab RN for a great Travel nursing job in Cedar Rapids, IA.

As a Cath Lab RN you will work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to the physician, including maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment and assisting during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.
Specific tasks include:
- Learn complex technologies effectively.
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization for diagnosing heart conditions or treatment.
- Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
- Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
Cath Lab Travel Nurses must stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Nurses should be able to lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift patients up to 50 pounds. They must cope with stress and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Qualifications- BLS, ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
