Registered Nurse – Night Shift

The Good Samaritan Society (GSS) is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of experience providing housing and services to seniors. This position is located at the Albion, NE facility (1222 S 7th St, Albion, NE 68620).

  Full time, 36 hours per week
• Salary: $32 – $48 per hour
• Sign‑on bonus: $10,000

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Provide care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel within their job descriptions, competence, and the delegate’s skill level.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
• Act within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize age‑ and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
