• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility

Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients with various illnesses or traumas requiring emergency attention and must recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions.

• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues related to urgent treatments.
• Use triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
