As a PRN Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care to client employees at our Health Center in Cedar Rapids, IA. You’ll be part of a collaborative clinical team focused on delivering exceptional care and a positive patient experience. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering a consistent daytime schedule.
What You’ll Do- Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
- Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
- Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
- Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
- Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Bring
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required;
Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four‑year college or university is preferred - Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services - Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
- At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
