Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to surgical patients through the application of the nursing process. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Schedule:
  
  4×10-hour shifts | 40 hrs/week
• On-Call:
  One night per week and up to one weekend per month
• Weekend Requirements:
  As scheduled per call rotation
• EMR: EPIC

• Weekly Gross: $2,798
• Taxable Base: $1,552 ($39/hr W2 base)
• Stipend: $1,246 (housing + meals & incidentals)
• OT Rate: $59/hr
• Callback Rate: $78/hr
• Travel Reimbursement:
  Up to $600

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Active Iowa RN license (Compact Allowed)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Proficiency in surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and perioperative best practices
