Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Cedar Rapids, IA

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure care for vascular and IR patients
• Monitor and assess patients throughout recovery following interventional vascular and IR procedures
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs

• Active Iowa RN license (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 30 months of interventional vascular or Interventional Radiology lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Pre- and post-op/recovery experience required
• Active EPIC EMR experience required
• Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Active ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid driver's license required

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting highly preferred
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular or IR lab discipline preferred

• First-time travelers are welcomed, making this an excellent opportunity to launch a travel nursing career in a specialized IR setting
• Work within a focused 9-bed unit offering a consistent and collaborative clinical environment
