Nursing Care In Long-Term Facility

Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility for an 8-week assignment near Cedar Rapids, IA, earning up to $1,350 per week with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in the long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with state and facility policies.
  • Assess residents' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, ensuring infection control and safety standards are upheld at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Valid LPN license recognized in Iowa
  • BLS certification
  • Adult Abuse certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of long-term care nursing experience
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week with flexibility for Fri-Sun or every other weekend
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dependable and adaptable
  • Physical ability to perform nursing duties
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills
