Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Required Skills/

Experience:

24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required. Experience with coronary PCI and structural heart patients required. Experience with Impella, IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump), Penumbra, vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors required. First-time travelers are welcome if they have at least 2 years of Cath experience.

Special Requests:
Past UnityPoint Health FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. If prior UnityPoint Health work was travel only, this separation policy does not apply. Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Unit Details:
Cares for coronary PCI and structural heart patients. Uses Impella, IABP, Penumbra, vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors. Uses Epic Cupid EMR; experience is highly preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call 10 to 12 call shifts per month, including every 3rd weekend. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
