Minimum of 24 months of current dialysis experience including inpatient experience; acute dialysis experience; no first-time travelers; experience using Fresenius machines; tele reads measure experience required; hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience preferred; EPIC EMR experience required. License:
Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate at time of submission required.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) required. Must-Have:
Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date preferred; driver's license required.
Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis. The work will require floating across various campuses. Patient types include remote tele, ICU patients requiring dialysis including AKI and ESRD. The patient ratios are 2:1. The equipment used includes Fresenius 2008T machines for hemodialysis and Baxter Homechoice Claria for peritoneal dialysis. Scrubs are to be navy blue and solid in color.
The contractor is required to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. On-call shifts are minimal and scheduled during weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis. Weekend work will be required every third weekend.
