Construction Site Quality Manager

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Construction Site Quality Manager with power generation construction experience and mechanical/civil inspection experience. The position requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction, its phases, processes, management, and leadership. This is an owner's rep position.

Salary: $58 - 66 per hour

8am to 5pm

Education:

High School

• Control and the distribution of all the company's quality documentation
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project
• Perform daily inspections of the work being performed onsite
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company's management
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
• Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system; recommend and implement improvements when required
• Review and provide comments on all quality related correspondence with the contractor's representatives
• Monitor statistical method reporting
• Review all turnover documentation upon the completion of the project
• Participate in all quality related activities with the designated representatives
• Attend monthly, weekly and daily meetings and provide perspective on all quality related subjects when needed

• Working up to 10 hours of overtime per week
• Working weekends

• Experience level:
  Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education:
  
  High School (required)

• EPC project experience (10 years of experience required)
• Industrial construction (5 years of experience required)
• Quality (3 years of experience preferred)
