About the Role

Master Quality Assurance Technician – Onsite. This role supports engineering teams during qualification, production transition, and light‑run manufacturing of complex avionics electronics. The position requires strong ethics and compliance awareness, excellent communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support quality aspects of qualification planning and testing.
  • Assist in documentation for engineering‑to‑production product transition.
  • Verify and document processes for obtaining Inspection, Test, and Final Acceptance stamps for lab personnel.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Own procedures, policies, and methods related to Avionics Engineering Technical Services.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of products, services, or processes.
  • Verify technical reports, charts, graphs, and schematics for accuracy against design specifications.
  • Work independently on long‑term project goals with minimal supervision.
  • Support factory transition of new products and ongoing support of legacy products.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and self‑prioritize to meet new challenges.
  • Use product requirements to develop hardware integration and verification procedures.
  • Treat quality as a department priority and serve as the go‑to authority on quality matters.
  • Support development of new and ongoing quality documentation.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Associate’s degree (AA/AS) or equivalent two‑year post‑high‑school training.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance for avionics or related fields.
  • Experience with modification processing (E‑Mod, flight changes, waivers, E‑ITR records, CRG processing) for top‑level, circuit card, or component‑level inspection and build.
  • Certification may be required for technical support roles.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience using SAP and FIT for configuration recording.
  • Experience as a mentor.
  • Final acceptance inspection experience.
  • Fluency in E‑modifications, conformities, and flight changes.
  • Current quality stamp holder.

Compensation

Salary range: $66,800 – $127,200 USD. Compensation reflects role, experience, location, and performance factors.
