Service Technician

Quality/Service Technician will conduct routine quality inspections throughout assembly production, including in-process and final inspections of new machinery.

• SQC inspection of all new equipment
• .Conduct reviews of checklists for compliance with equipment specification standards per customer purchase agreements
• .Is a liaison between production and engineering for technical updates
• .Participate in overflow part quality checks as needed for machining operations
• .Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection
• .Record and maintain documentation of all machinery inspections
• .Work with the safety committee to ensure continuous compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards
• .Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions
• .Collaborate and train production staff in quality control procedures and standards
• .Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety control processes
• .Communicate quality and safety control findings and recommendations to management
• .Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required

• CEAssociate of Applied Science Degree or equivalent, electrical or mechanica
• l.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality control manufacturing environmen
• t.Thoroughly versed in the use of an array of electronic test equipmen
• t.Understand basic electrical and mechanical engineering principle
• s.Understand basic pneumatic/hydraulic fundamental
• s.Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentatio
