Overview

This is a permanent PART-TIME role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency.

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays, in aisles, and on aisle end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in various store locations.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly (may take several hours).
• Provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products as requested by clients.
• Complete Custom Projects when requested by clients, which adds 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store in some weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines to ensure timely data delivery to clients.
• Maintain dependability and quality-driven action in return for independence and flexible work hours.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi-Fi and tech comfort.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
