Job Summary

Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) – 1344‑1st Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. Pay range $14.00‑$15.00 per hour, with opportunities for raises, promotions to Lead Pawnbroker, Assistant Manager, and other leadership roles. All positions start with a 5‑week, paid training program and offer competitive bonus potential, health insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, holiday pay, and store discounts.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service in person and over the phone.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions, including pawn transactions of jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and other items.
• Complete opening and closing store duties.
• Assist with customer service duties and maintain a respectful environment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multitasking capability.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test (after a conditional offer).
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
• Sales background, bilingual, or other relevant skills are a plus.
