This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and ImpactThe Senior Sales and Technical Representative Ruminant will focus on working and developing our customers in the designated geographic territory. In this role, you will handle complex products that require excellent client relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning.
Key Accountabilities- Develop a plan to establish, maintain and develop account relationships and meet personal sales targets.
- Build a business plan for each account.
- Coordinate use of resources to provide value added services to accounts.
- Develop strong client relationships that provide significant input to planning product, price and service strategies.
- Support supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in veterinary sciences or other disciplines related field or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of proven work experience in advising and providing technical service for customers.
- Experience in providing support for the creation of new products, primarily in the beef and lamb-fattening range.
- Formulation skills.
- Commercial skills.
- Driver's license required (B) and availability to travel in the area.
- Fluency in Spanish language (written and spoken).
- English language, is preferred.
