Job Overview

As an Inside Sales – Counter Sales Representative you will assist customers in person and over the phone, enter orders, review and pull orders, follow through on commitments, and ensure customers’ needs are met in a professional and timely manner.

Primary Duties
  • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems promptly and professionally.
  • Help customers determine and select the best solution of Crescent Electric products and services to meet their needs.
  • Work with Purchasing Department, account managers, quotation specialists, product champions, and other branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, its location in the facility, and sales techniques.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Related sales experience preferred and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
Physical Demands

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping; occasional sitting, talking/hearing. Requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs, with assistance of a buddy-lift or mechanical device advised.

Vision Requirements
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
  • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
  • Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
