Account Manager
Account Executive – responsible for selling and expanding revenue for iHeart
Media’s broadcast, digital, and podcast advertising products. The role requires rapid on‑boarding, strong sales acumen, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Learn the ins and outs of iHeart’s Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through in‑person client meetings and prospect research.
- Consistently conduct daily cold‑calling and outreach to initiate new leads.
- Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue, create effective marketing campaigns, and deliver compelling sales presentations fueled by data.
- Self‑motivated with a “go‑getter” attitude.
- Excellent relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and persuasive communication skills.
- Goal‑oriented, expert negotiator, and proactive mindset.
- Ability to plan and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with cold‑calling and initiating outreach to prospective clients.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a High School Diploma (College Degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and social networking platforms.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to help business grow to its fullest potential.
- Digital/Media Sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize day‑to‑day tasks.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑platform campaigns, analytics, iHeart/audio advertising background, and strong market connections is a nice to have.
- Respect for others and a strong belief in reciprocity.
- General understanding of business principles and a sales environment.
- Interest in developing knowledge of business operations and sales concepts.
- Individual accountability and understanding of when to seek guidance.
- Skills managing assigned projects to completion.
- Ability to resolve problems using established guidelines and professional judgement.
- Ability to communicate information about iHeart products in a digestible manner and to apply active listening skills to validate customer needs.
