Sales Consultants; Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Overview

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on needs and interests.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, product innovations, competitor pricing, and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years sales experience in building products or construction.
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license if operating vehicle for company purposes.

• Local travel; more than 50% of schedule.
• Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends.

• Prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling.
• Good hand‑eye coordination, hand dexterity, physical strength.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary range: $30,000.00 - $ (actual base will vary).
