A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Sales & Account Manager to help grow and strengthen customer partnerships across OEM and industrial markets. This is a highly visible role focused on both new business development and strategic account growth within a custom manufacturing environment. This is not a passive account management role. The ideal candidate brings experience selling technical or custom-manufactured products and understands how to balance sales growth with operational realities, customer expectations, and long-term relationship management.

- Travel is expected throughout the Midwest region
- Prospect and develop new OEM and industrial manufacturing customer relationships
- Grow and strengthen existing strategic customer accounts
- Lead customer communication related to quotes, timelines, production updates, and commitments
- Partner closely with scheduling, operations, engineering, and quality teams to support customer needs
- Manage RFQ activity, pricing discussions, and proposal follow-through
- Conduct regular customer visits, business development meetings, and relationship-building activity
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts while expanding new business pipelines
- Experience selling custom‑manufactured products, industrial components, or technical solutions into OEM or manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and grow long‑term customer relationships
- Strong understanding of quoting, customer requirements, production timelines, and account coordination within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, scheduling, and production teams
- Strong communication, organization, follow‑through, and relationship management skills
