The Gazette is seeking a dynamic Multi Media Account Executive (MMAE) to lead our sales in the classified space and other community-focused advertising efforts and drive revenue growth.
Position OverviewThe Community Account Executive (MMAE) is responsible for driving revenue growth through a consultative sales approach, representing The Gazette's full portfolio of advertising and marketing solutions. This includes print and digital advertising campaigns, as well as commercial print products, for an assigned portfolio of accounts.
In this role, the MMAE will cultivate and strengthen existing client relationships while proactively identifying new business opportunities. By understanding each client's unique marketing objectives, the MMAE will recommend customized solutions that deliver measurable results and long-term value.
The ideal candidate collaborates closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to maximize revenue, expand market share, and contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients and prospects to maintain strong client relationships and actively pursue new business for year over year growth
- Develop and present marketing solutions designed to solve customer needs from the portfolio of Gazette offerings and deliver sales presentations
- Consult on options for effective ad design, insertion, and provide suggestions for ad improvements
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Deliver quality orders to the support teams and provide all necessary information to ensure smooth running of advertising
- Obtain credit applications or prepayments for advertising as necessary
- Work collaboratively with creative services and traffic to ensure advertiser expectations are met
- Participate in trainings to maintain product knowledge and industry trends
- Two years sales experience
- Digital advertising sales experience/product knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and team environment
- Results orientated, accountable, strong work ethic, team player
