Role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Candidates must also meet the following requirements: U.S. citizenship, active and transferable government‑issued security clearance prior to start date, LEOSA certification (or ability to obtain), TSA Armed Security Officer certification (or ability to obtain), and a proficient drive and protection skill set.
What You Will Do:- Coordinate schedules/itinerary for travel planning with the principal’s executive assistant daily.
- Drive primary and secondary routes in advance of all local venues.
- Support flights in and out of Reagan International Airport as a TSA‑Armed Security Officer.
- Liaise with management, industry representatives, customers, and law enforcement concerning executive protection, events, operations, and objectives.
- Perform and execute the development of comprehensive physical security plans and employ risk‑vulnerability assessment methodologies to safeguard senior executive leadership.
- Maintain company executive transport vehicles: inspections, accident tracking, delivery to dealership for repairs or replacements, and weekly washing and cleaning.
- Provide security at company‑sponsored events.
- Supplement other members of the Physical Security organization as directed.
- Typically requires a university degree and minimum eight years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and five years of experience, or, in the absence of a degree, twelve years of relevant experience.
- At least ten years of experience in security operations, armed forces, or local law enforcement at the federal, state, or local government level.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance before start date.
- Leosa certification (or ability to obtain).
- TSA Armed Security Officer certification (or ability to obtain).
- Capable of working independently and adapting to varying work‑paces while maintaining high attentiveness and energy.
- Ability to adjust work schedule on short notice to accommodate leadership schedule and security needs.
- Sound operational judgement and flexibility to shift priorities to address varying challenges.
- Positive attitude with a professional communication style and appearance.
- Maintain close liaison with government and industry security, law enforcement, and intelligence professionals.
- Prior experience in military or law enforcement, specifically conducting close protection and driving of VIPs.
- Tactical experience working on an active SWAT, SRT, or similar unit.
- Technical Security Counter‑Measure (TSCM) experience.
- Counter‑intelligence experience.
- Experience collaborating with other businesses to develop and maintain progressive security programs.
- Prior training in firearms, defensive tactics, defensive/evasive driving, arrest techniques, and/or emergency medicine.
- Experience with workplace violence and/or threat management programs.
- Experience conducting Threat, Risk & Vulnerability Assessments.
- Ability to work effectively and comfortably with internal/external customers of all levels.

- Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
