PWE Systems Administrator; ISSA; Onsite

What You Will Do

• You will work with one or more of the following technologies:
  • Virtualization
  • Servers
  • Clients
  • Networking
  • Storage
  • Backup
• You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross‑functional team.
• You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.
• You will assist in driving escalations to resolution.
• You will participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE).
• You will use your technical knowledge and experience to facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets.
• You will assist with the implementation of technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned.
• You will provide support for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 infrastructure teams.

• You will foster relationships with your DT peers across the domestic US.
• You will learn how to communicate effectively to Engineering leadership.
• You will learn how to provide ROI based on project performance.
• You will learn how to apply your knowledge and personal skills to shape projects that have a loose set of requirements.

• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required day 1 of employment.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience supporting technology in a professional environment such as
  • Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMware, etc.)
  • Linux Systems Administration
  • Networking (important)
  • Compliance frameworks (NIST 800–53)
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+) is preferred.
