Job Overview

Cyber Engineer II – Integrated Strategic Solutions Engineering (Mission Platform Systems Security Engineering team). Onsite position located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Requires an active, transferable SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Provide Windows and Unix operating system administration.
• Work with security architecture.
• Support development of RMF documents and controls validation for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditations.
• Maintain current versions of Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs), including downloading templates from the DoD Cyber Exchange and updating the list.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to complete STIG templates for Network Switches, Databases, OS, etc.
• Perform routine and ad‑hoc scans using the ACAS application.
• Support development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies.

• Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active, transferable SECRET clearance (Top Secret attainable after start).
• U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with STIG and RMF.
• Experience implementing DoD and federal IA certification, accreditation processes and controls.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable Security Center, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker).
• Familiarity with Linux commands.
• DoDI 8570.01‑M IAT Level‑II compliant certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) preferred.
• Active, transferable TOP SECRET clearance preferred.
